The Kodiak/Aleutians Subsistence Regional Advisory Council will meet April 22-23, 2019, at the Best Western Kodiak Inn and Convention Center in Kodiak. The meeting will convene at 9:00 a.m. daily.

Seward Peninsula Subsistence Regional Advisory Council to meet in Nome

The Seward Peninsula Subsistence Regional Advisory Council will meet April 23-24, 2019 at the Mini-Convention Center in Nome. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. daily. This meeting was originally scheduled for early March 2019, but had to be rescheduled due to weather conditions.

Reminder - Federal Subsistence Board to consider proposals to change Federal subsistence fish regulations, Fisheries Temporary Special Action Request FSA19-02, and other subsistence issues

The Federal Subsistence Board (Board) will meet April 15 − 18, 2019 at the William A. Egan Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage to consider proposed changes to Federal subsistence fish and shellfish regulations for the 2019-2021 regulatory years, proposed changes to customary and traditional use determinations, and other subsistence issues. The Board will also hold public hearings and consultation with Regional Advisory Council Chairs and the State of Alaska about possible companion Temporary Special Actions that would immediately implement regulatory changes adopted by the Board during this meeting. The Board will also take action on Fisheries Temporary Special Action Request FSA19-02 (submitted by Akiak Native Community).

Northwest Arctic Subsistence Regional Advisory Council to meet in Kotzebue

The Northwest Arctic Subsistence Regional Advisory Council will meet April 9-10, 2019, at the Northwest Arctic Borough Assembly Room in Kotzebue. The meeting will convene at 9:00 a.m. daily.

North Slope Subsistence Regional Advisory Council to meet in Utqiaġvik

Bristol Bay Subsistence Regional Advisory Council to meet via teleconference

The Bristol Bay Subsistence Regional Advisory Council will reconvene via teleconference on March 29, 2019, from its meeting originally held March 12-13, 2019 in Naknek, in order to complete action items deferred to a working group. The teleconference will begin at 10:00 a.m. on March 29.

Public Hearing announced for Fisheries Special Action Request FSA19-02 regarding Kuskokwim River Chinook Salmon Fishery
