The Office of Insular Affairs today announced the release of $2,518,897 in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funds for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) to renovate and retrofit hospital emergency care and isolation areas, prepare quarantine sites, and purchase medical equipment.

United States Holds Second Round of Compact Consultations with the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau

Stewart have concluded a second round of consultations with teams from both the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and the Republic of Palau regarding certain expiring provisions of their respective Compact of Free Association agreements.

Interior Announces $3.4 Million for Brown Tree Snake Control on Guam

DOI Assistant Secretary Domenech today announced the release of $3,442,389 in fiscal year (FY) 2020 grant funding to suppress and control the brown tree snake (BTS), Boiga irregularis, primarily on Guam. Funds also support prevention, detection, and rapid response efforts in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and Hawaii.

United States Holds Initial Consultations with the Freely Associated States
