Federal Subsistence Board to Hold Public Meeting on Fisheries Special Action Request FSA24-01 Yukon River Salmon

The Federal Subsistence Board (Board) will hold a public meeting on April 15, 2024, from 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. via teleconference. During the meeting, the Board will take action on Fisheries Special Action Request FSA24-01 regarding salmon fishing closures to non-federally qualified users in the Yukon River drainage in 2024.

The Federal Subsistence Board (Board) is accepting proposals through May 21, 2024, to change Federal regulations for the subsistence harvest of fish and shellfish on Federal public lands and waters for the 2025-2027 regulatory years (April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2027).
