The Office of Subsistence Management is housed within the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and provides administrativeĀ support to the Federal Subsistence Board and the Federal Subsistence Regional Advisory Councils. The staff of the Office of Subsistence Management includes fish and wildlife biologists, anthropologists, technical and administrative staff, and liaisons to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and the Alaska Native community. The staff provides support for the regulatory process and the Fisheries Resource Monitoring Program.
