The Natural and Cultural Resources Recovery Support Function (NCR RSF) deployed a total of two staff from the U.S. Department of the Interior (Bureau of Land Management) and Federal Emergency Management Agency for a period of seven months beginning in March 2013. Major technical support areas included: dune and beach restoration; habitat and wildlife; water resources, fisheries, and aquaculture; threatened and endangered species; lighthouses; oil and chemical spills; forest land; historic districts; museums; and archaeological preserves. The NCR RSF Team provided input to the Mission Scoping Assessment Report and Recovery Support Strategy Report. Support was provided remotely during the Implementation Phase.
