New Mexico Flood (2014)

The Natural and Cultural Resources Recovery Support Function (NCR RSF) deployed three staff from the U.S. Department of the Interior (National Park Service, plus Bureau of Indian Affairs and  Bureau of Reclamation remotely) in addition to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resource Conservation Service for a period of 10 months beginning in January 2014. Major technical support areas included: early warning system, river channel clearing, erosion and sediment control, sewer infrastructure improvement,; and stream gauges. The NCR RSF Team provided input to the Mission Scoping Assessment Report and Recovery Support Strategy Report. Support was provided remotely during the Implementation Phase.
