Jack Donnelly, Chief Information Security Officer

Mr. Jack Donnelly joined the U.S. Department of the Interior in Septebmer 2019 as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Director of Cybersecurity Division (CSD) within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Prior to joining Interior, Mr. Donnelly served as the Department of Treasury’s CISO where he led cyber security operations and served as the Chairman of the Federal Regulators Cybersecurity Committee.

With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Donnelly is results-driven and a proven strategist, accomplished in building high performance, cost-effective information technology enterprise system solutions for diverse commercial businesses and U.S. government agencies. During his career, Mr. Donnelly has created Computer Network Defense, Attack, and Operations solutions for homeland intelligence, law enforcement, and defense customers, led U.S. Department of Homeland Security U.S. Computer emergency readiness Team (US-CERT) and EINSTEIN initiatives, and delivered expansive voice and data service to South America and India.

Mr. Donnelly received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from Old Dominion University.
