Facilities and Property Management

The Facilities and Property Management functional area oversees the following, ensuring AVSO has the space, equipment, and communications technology resources required to accomplish its mission:

  • Space management: oversees all offices and spaces across AVSO regions, including working with GSA, outside contractors, and other invested parties to ensure rental agreements comply with AVSO requirements
  • Building management: oversees office operations, including repairs, maintenance, working with GSA and contractors, and cleaning and custodial services
  • Property accountability: directs implementation of regulations on governance and accountability for real property and personal property
  • Fleet management: oversees the maintenance, dispatch, usage, and liaison activities for AVSO fleet
  • Communications technology support: facilitates such resources as IT support, Wi-Fi service, Verizon and CenturyLink contracts, shared conferencing services, etc.
  • Supply and equipment procurement
