The OSEOD's mission is to transform individuals, teams, and organizations through high quality, innovative, and cost-efficient learning. We deliver efficient and effective training, effectively use technology, and build the competency of our DOI and federal workforce.

OSEOD consists of four divisions that work together to meet all of your training needs:
DOIU is the department-wide training organization that delivers training at three main learning centers (Albuquerque, Denver, and Washington) and at remote locations to geographically-dispersed employees. DOIU courses are listed in an online catalog and cover a broad range of topics to increase the skills of all DOI employees as well as other federal, state, and tribal employees. Special training requests are addressed via the DOIU training site.
The Federal Consulting Group (FCG) specializes in organizational development, change, and strategy execution. FCG brings clarity to complexity by helping federal executives focus on the purpose and strategic direction of their agency’s core mission. FCG works with federal agencies to improve the services and performance they deliver to or on behalf of the American people.
DOI Talent, the agency-wide learning management system where courses are catalogued and employees can register for learning.
Located on the grounds of the old Albuquerque Indian School, the National Indian Programs Training Center offers a unique opportunity for learning. State of the art classrooms, distance learning offerings, and a highly experienced staff are only a few of the reasons the NIPTC is the provider of choice for training related to Indian programs.
DOI Career Connection (DCC) is an online portal for sharing short-term broadening projects, details and lateral opportunities across DOI. DCC facilitates opportunities to broaden employees’ experience, address staffing needs, and build a highly-skilled workforce throughout the Department of the Interior. In conjunction with My DOI Career, DCC helps employees turn information into action, enabling them to take charge of defining their path to a fulfilling and exciting career with the Department of the Interior.
