Katrina Millette is currently the Division Chief of the Financial Systems and Data Analytics Division of Office of Financial Management for the Department of the Interior. As the Division Chief, Mrs. Millette oversees internal control oversight, direction, and analytical support for report development and maintenance to include the Financial Management risk assessments and supporting detailed reports to facilitate early detection of high-risk transactions and consolidated audit support to include Financial and Business Management System data populations and their accompanying analyses.

Mrs. Millette has over 22+ years of professional accounting, audit, financial operations and financial reporting expertise with the Federal Government. Her expertise consists of the full range of government financial management activities including the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990, the Government Performance and Results Act, the Anti Deficiency Act, Economy Act 1932, Office of Management and Budget A-123 Management’s Responsibility for Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Controls and Office of Management and Budget A-136 Financial Reporting standards. She has experience working with Working Capital Funds as well as the Interior Franchise Fund. 

Prior to serving as the Division Chief of Financial Systems and Data Analytics Division of the Office of Financial Management, Mrs. Millette has served in key positions throughout the Department of the Interior starting her career at the United States Geological Survey as support staff in Budget, Acquisitions, Property, Systems, and Accounting then moving to the Interior Business Center where she quickly became the Lead Accountant of General Accounting overseeing accountants providing accounting and financial reporting functions to the Offices falling under the umbrella of Departmental Offices.  Katrina furthered her career and expertise as the Lead Accountant for the Office of the Secretary’s Departmental Offices Finance Division. With her wide range of knowledge, Katrina brings expertise in the areas of analytics, financial reporting, audit, fund accounting, and cost accounting.  

Katrina has a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor's Degree from Metro State University of Denver.
