Communications and Information

The Communications and Information functional area supports AVSO in the development and delivery of a variety of communications strategies and initiatives with the goal of upholding and promoting AVSO's organizational identity. 

Some of the duties of Communications and Information include the following:

  • Develop, write, and edit informational and marketing materials
    • Flysheets
    • Brochures
    • Infographics
  • Maintain AVSO's online presence
    • Employee intranet sites
    • Public-facing sites
  • Provide general writing and editorial support to AVSO's divisions
    • Presentations
    • Reports and white papers
    • Correspondence
  • Create and maintain communications resources and digital media
    • Templates
    • Graphics
    • Photos
    • Videos
  • Develop and steer internal communications
    • Newsletters
    • Employee engagement campaigns
  • Respond to public inquiries and perform outreach
  • Ensure that all communications and marketing materials align with organizational standards
