The Communications and Information functional area supports AVSO in the development and delivery of a variety of communications strategies and initiatives with the goal of upholding and promoting AVSO's organizational identity.

- Public-facing sites
- Provide general writing and editorial support to AVSO's divisions
- Presentations
- Reports and white papers
- Correspondence
- Create and maintain communications resources and digital media
- Templates
- Graphics
- Photos
- Videos
- Develop and steer internal communications
- Newsletters
- Employee engagement campaigns
- Respond to public inquiries and perform outreach
- Ensure that all communications and marketing materials align with organizational standards
