Federal Subsistence Regional Advisory Councils to hold public meetings Public is welcome and encouraged to participate

The meetings will be held in-person. The public is welcome and encouraged to participate in these meetings in-person or by teleconference. 

Please be informed that per Department of the Interior guidance for all in-person meetings, when the COVID-19 community level is HIGH as reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), all in-person attendees must wear masks when indoors, regardless of vaccination status and consistent with CDC and Task Force guidance on mask-wearing.  

Before attending the meeting in-person, first, please check the COVID-19 community level at https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#datatracker-home for the community where the meeting you plan to attend is scheduled to be held. Masks will be provided at the door.

The meeting schedule is as follows; however, meeting dates and locations are subject to change based on weather or local circumstances:

Individual teleconference numbers, passcodes, and meeting times will be provided on meeting agendas when distributed as well as posted together with all meeting materials approximately two weeks prior to each meeting and may be found here: https://www.doi.gov/subsistence/regions. You may also request to have the documents mailed (USPS) or e-mailed to you by sending your request to subsistence@fws.gov or calling (800) 478-1456.

Reasonable Accommodations: The Federal Subsistence Board is committed to providing access to these meetings for all participants. Please make requests in advance for sign language interpreter services, assistive listening devices, or other reasonable accommodations. Please make requests to Katya Wessels, (907) 786–3888, subsistence@fws.gov, at least 7 business days prior to the meeting you would like to attend to give the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service sufficient time to process your request. All reasonable accommodation requests are managed on a case-by-case basis.
