Federal Subsistence Regional Advisory Councils to hold public meetings

Public is welcome and encouraged to participate

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- The Federal Subsistence Regional Advisory Councils will hold public meetings between February 24 and April 1, 2026, to develop proposals to change federal subsistence fish and shellfish regulations for the 2027-2029 regulatory years and discuss other issues affecting subsistence in their regions.

The meetings will be held in person. The public is welcome and encouraged to participate in these meetings in-person or by teleconference or Microsoft Teams.

The meeting schedule is as follows; however, meeting dates and locations are subject to change based on weather or local circumstances:

Individual teleconference numbers, passcodes, and meeting times will be provided on meeting agendas when distributed as well as posted together with all meeting materials approximately two weeks prior to each meeting and may be found here: https://www.doi.gov/subsistence/regions. You may also request to have the documents mailed (USPS) or e-mailed to you by sending your request to subsistence@ios.doi.gov or calling (800) 478-1456.

Reasonable Accommodations: The Federal Subsistence Board is committed to providing for all participants.
