Emergency Wildlife Special Action Request WSA21-02, submitted by Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta Subsistence Regional Advisory Council, requested to increase the harvest limit from 2 to 3 moose in the Unit 18 Remainder Hunt Area through the current season ending April 30, 2021. The Board approved the request, as the moose population in this area exceeds management objectives. Approval of this emergency special action request will also increase opportunities for Federally qualified subsistence users in the area.
