Museum of the Plains Indian to Host Holiday Event

BROWNING, MONTANA:  The Museum of the Plains Indian, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Indian Arts and Crafts Board, in partnership with the Friends of the Museum of the Plains Indian, and Glacier National Park (GNP), Native American Speaks Program, will host a Holiday Open House on December 12, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Activities will include:

  • A musical presentation featuring Jack Gladstone, GNP Native America Speaks Program, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Holiday craft activities for all ages from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Screening of holiday-themed films from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Museum Group from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  This event is free and open to the public.  Community members of all ages and their families are invited to attend. 

The Museum of the Plains Indian is managed by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Indian Arts and Crafts Board.  Regular viewing hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The Museum of the Plains Indian is open year around.
