DOINews: BSEE Takes to Twitter for Hurricane Preparedness Week

Throughout National Hurricane Preparedness Week, the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement is using Twitter to share its role in reducing hurricane-related risks across offshore oil and natural gas operations on the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf.

On May 28, Tweeting, "When a hurricane enters the Gulf of Mexico, the BSEE Hurricane Response Team gets to work," BSEE shared this video from its YouTube site.

In it, members of BSEE's Hurricane Response Team explain how the Gulf of Mexico Region works to protect oil and gas industry personnel and the environment during extreme weather events associated with hurricane season.
