Description

“Every Kid in a Park Program,” an initiative launched in 2015, is part of President Obama’s commitment to protect our nation’s unique outdoor spaces and ensure that Americans have the opportunity to visit and enjoy them.  The program calls on federal land management agencies to help get children to visit and enjoy the outdoors.  The objective is to inspire a new generation of Americans to experience their country’s unrivaled public lands and waters. The program allows fourth graders nationwide to obtain a pass for free entry for themselves and their families to more than 2,000 federally managed lands and waters nationwide for their entire year as a 4th-grader. The program is an Administration-wide effort administered in partnership with the Department of the Interior, the Department of Agriculture, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.  Please join the Office of Policy Analysis and learn how the initiative is going.
