Subject: REVISED ANNOUNCEMENT LINK for Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program Classes #18 and #19

On May 26, 2015, the Department of the Interior posted an announcement for the Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program (SESCDP) Classes #18 and #19. Due to technical difficulties, a new announcement is posted on OPM's USAJOBS website. The announcement closes on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. The link to the job announcement is: https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/405257300.

The SESCDP is open to all qualified Federal civil service employees. Class #18 will launch in the fall 2015 and Class #19 will launch in the spring 2016. The SESCDP is designed to prepare high potential employees for the Senior Executive Service (SES). Successful completion of the SESCDP results in eligibility for noncompetitive placement in an SES position. Ideal candidates are GS-14 and GS-15 dynamic self-starters with proven management and communication skills to participate in a variety of development experiences designed to help them become the next generation of leaders. Participants will attend formal courses and seminars and will have a current SES member as a mentor throughout this 12-month program. There will be temporary developmental assignments that may involve organizational, functional and/or geographic mobility.

This will be a resume-only recruitment. Applicants will only need to submit a resume that outlines their possession of or potential for development in the five Executive Core Qualifications. We will be offering several one-hour webinars to provide applicants with information on how to prepare an ECQ-based resume.
