Memo (2022): Waiver of Bi-Weekly Limitations on Premium Pay, Major Flood Events in the States of New Mexico and Montana

Recently, the States of New Mexico and Montana have experienced major flood events, and Department of the Interior employees have provided disaster response support for these two events. Therefore, DOI employees are authorized a waiver of the bi-weekly limitations on premium pay and are authorized an increase to the calendar year (CY) 2022 pay limitations, as defined by the provisions of section 5547 of title 5, United States Code (U.S.C.), if they perform work in direct response, mitigation, or recovery efforts for these two separate flood events.
