Results from Federal Subsistence Board Work Session

For Immediate Release:

February 2, 2022 

During their February 1, 2022 work session, the Federal Subsistence Board (Board) took action on the 2022 Fisheries Resource Monitoring Plan and Individual Customary and Traditional Use Determination Proposal ICTP21-02.  The Board also received updates on the Regional Advisory Council annual report reply process review, the Federal Subsistence Management Program budget, and the deferred Wildlife Special Action Request WSA21-01 for Units 23 and 26A.

The Board accepted recommendations for funding the 2022 Fisheries Resource Monitoring Plan based on the Technical Review Committee rankings, Subsistence Regional Advisory Council comments, and Interagency Staff Committee comments.  The Board also adopted Individual Customary and Traditional Use Determination Proposal ICTP 21-02.
