Comments invited on proposed changes to Federal subsistence fisheries regulations

The Federal Subsistence Board (Board) is accepting written comments, through July 2, 2020, on proposed changes to Federal subsistence fisheries regulations. These proposed changes would affect Federal subsistence open seasons, harvest limits, methods for the taking of fish, and customary and traditional use determinations for the 2021-2023 regulatory years.

To ensure written comments are included in OSM regulatory analyses, please submit them by
July 2, 2020. The public is also welcome to provide oral or written comments at the Regional Advisory Council meetings in August through November 2020, or at the Federal Subsistence Board meeting in January 2021; however, these comments will not be included in the proposal analyses. After December 31, 2020, anyone wishing to provide written comments may do so only by delivering them directly to the Board at its regulatory meeting scheduled to occur in January 2021.  The commenter must include 30 copies of their written comments for distribution at the meeting. No written comments will otherwise be accepted after that deadline.
