Through a 30-year partnership of the Department of Interior, USGS and the U.S. Agency for International Development, Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance, a small team of U.S. scientists have assisted more than a dozen nations respond to volcanic crises, saving tens of thousands of lives and hundreds of millions in U.S. assets, and bringing home invaluable experience to protect U.S. Citizens from 169 potentially active volcanoes in the United States. Volcano Disaster Assistance Program Chief John Pallister will present examples from the team's crisis responses and how they benefit our international partners and our nation.

Building Access - All adults must present a valid photo ID to enter the building. All visitors will be subject to security screenings, including bag and parcel checks.
