From cube satellites, to acoustics and environmental DNA, the world of ocean science is rapidly changing. Join Dr. Rodney Cluck, Chief, Division of Environmental Sciences at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, for an exciting discussion on how these new technologies are transforming the way ocean research is conducted while offering greater precision to new knowledge. BOEM’s Environmental Studies Program develops, funds, and manages rigorous scientific research specifically to inform policy decisions on the development of energy and mineral resources on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS).
