In the past three decades, the tactics and technologies for cleaning up oil spills has evolved significantly. Join Eric Miller, Chief of the Preparedness Verification Branch of the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement’s Oil Spill Preparedness Division as he reviews examples of the advances in oil spill cleanup technologies and tactics associated with remote sensing, on-water collection and recovery, in-situ burning, and the use of dispersants.
