Subject: SkillSoft Online Learning Library Open Season

The Office of Strategic Employee and Organizational Development is pleased to announce the Fiscal Year 2012 open registration for the SkillSoft library of online courses for all DOI Employees**. SkillSoft registration begins on October 12 and runs through December 9, 2011. The cost of an individual license is $20 which allows the user unlimited access to the SkillSoft library beginning on November 1, 2011 through October 31, 2012. One year of access to an invaluable resource at a great price.


SkillSoft's library of approximately 3,500 on-line courses is available 24/7 and covers a wide range of topics, including:


· Project management

· Supervisory/leadership skills

· Human Resources development

· Budget/financial management

· Acquisition management

· Information technology including Microsoft Office 2007and 2010 applications


SkillSoft offers courses that satisfy a number of mandatory training requirements including Diversity/EEO and Role-Based Security Training (RBST) for IT personnel.
