Subject: 2012 National Historically Black Colleges and Universities Week

The White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) will hold its 2012 National HBCU Week Conference on September 25 - 26, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel, 1000 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., 20001. The theme for this year's conference is “Enhancing Innovation and Advancement.” The two-day national conference highlights the significant contributions that HBCUs have made to the Nation.

The Department of the Interior (DOI) will exhibit at the HBCU Week Conference to strengthen its partnership with HBCUs and efforts to create a pipeline for DOI workforce planning needs.
