Appraisal Apprentice Program

OVS is committed to investing in professional development. Not only do we support the professional education and designations of appraisal staff, but we are implementing a new program to train apprentices to become fully certified and designated appraisers. The program is designed for recent college graduates and provides the experience and education necessary for state certification.

The Office of Valuation Services works in all 50 states. Cases recently completed include:

  • Threatened and endangered Desert Tortoise habitat in the California Mojave Desert.
  • Trail expansion for the Colorado Monument Trail near Grand Junction.
  • Riverfront acquisitions for restoration and habitat protection of the Trinity River in California.
  • Protection of critical habitat for Panthers and Crocodiles in the Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge .
  • Expansion of buffer zone for the Appalachian Trail in Virginia.
