FWS -- Sustainable Cultivation and Feeding of Fish
In order to promote healthy fish populations and meet the human demand for fish as food, sport and recreation, there is greater emphasis worldwide on captive propagation and aquaculture. The Fish & Wildlife Service's Fish Technology Centers have developed culture techniques and fish diets, including sustainable and long-lasting feeds that support captive propagation for restoration and recovery. These are now used around the world by both commercial and non-commercial entities.
