WASHINGTON, D.C. – Deputy Secretary of the Interior Lynn Scarlett will deliver the keynote address during the Department’s Diversity Days Conference on Tuesday, August 7. The address, which will highlight the important role of having a large and diverse employee base plays at the Department, comes during the official kick-off celebration for the three-day-long event.
The Department of the Interior’s Diversity Days is an annual, three-day conference which highlights the importance of a diverse workforce to the Department’s mission and offers workshops for employees, as well as a diversity fair and contests. This year’s Diversity Day’s runs from August 6 – August 8.
