What:The first round of 2007 Preserve America Grants totaling about $2.6 million will be presented to 43 successful applicants. Also, recent Preserve America Community designations will be recognized, with particular reference to Plattsmouth, Nebraska, the 501st Preserve America Community in the nation.
When:Thursday, July 12, 2007, beginning at 9 a.m. Please note that due to security and staging concerns, the doors to the Cannon Caucus Room close at 8:30 a.m., and persons covering or attending the event should be inside by that time.
