ORLANDO, FL— On Friday evening, Jan. 19, Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne will give the keynote speech at the 22nd annual conference of the Everglades Coalition at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando.
Secretary Kempthorne will discuss Everglades restoration. The speech is open to credentialed media.
The Everglades Coalition is an alliance of 45 local, state and national conservation and environmental organizations dedicated to full restoration of the greater Everglades ecosystem, from the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes into Lake Okeechobee, through the "River of Grass", out to Florida Bay and the Keys.
