Today, Individual Indian Money (IIM) account holders may have their funds provided electronically through automatic transfers to their savings or checking account at a financial institution, or in check form through the U.S. Postal Service.
Direct deposit to a checking or savings account is faster and more efficient than receiving checks in the mail. There is no risk of checks being misplaced, stolen, or lost in the mail. There is no charge for the service and the funds are immediately available to the account holder.
Learn more and find out how easy it is to receive funds through direct deposit. Contact your local Fiduciary Trust Officer or call the Trust Beneficiary Call Center, toll free, at 1-888-678-6836.
By the end of September 2013, there were 38,325 IIM account holders signed up to use direct deposit!
