Located 2,600 miles southwest of Hawaii, the National Park of American Samoa is the most remote unit of the National Park System and the U.S. National Park south of the Equator. The Park spreads across three islands, 9,500 acres of tropical rainforest, and 4,000 acres of ocean, including coral reefs. While remote, the islands of American Samoa, true to the meaning of the word Samoa (Islands of Sacred Earth), are welcoming and offer beautiful landscapes and centuries of culture and history.

The plantings of cherry trees originated in 1912 as a gift of friendship to the People of the United States from the People of Japan. In Japan, the flowering cherry tree, or "Sakura," is an exalted flowering plant. The beauty of the cherry blossom is a potent symbol equated with the evanescence of human life and epitomizes the transformation of Japanese culture throughout the ages.

Directions to the Office From north...from I-40 take exit 101 for US-281/OK-8 toward Anadarko/Watonga, turn right onto OK-8/US-281 S/Broadway, continue to follow, turn left onto OK-152 E/OK-8/US-281 S/Main St & continue to follow, turn right onto OK-8 S/US-281 S, office entrance will be on your right along with the entrance to Riverside Indian School.
From east...head west on OK-9 W/US-62 W, continue to follow & entrance will be on the left along with Riverside Indian School.
From west...head east on OK-9 E, turn right toward SW 6th St/S Mission St, turn right onto W Central Blvd, turn left onto 1st St, entrance will be on the left along with Riverside Indian School.
From south...from US-277 N, turn left onto OK-8 N/S Baskett & continue on OK-8 N, turn left onto E. Central Blvd, entrance will be on the left along with Riverside Indian school.
When coming into the building take a left down the first hallway, turn the corner & we are the next hallway on the left.
