Secretary Salazar to Visit Fort Jackson Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and Joint Information Center

Tomorrow, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar will visit Fort Jackson Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Buras, LA, to review efforts being undertaken by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and its partners to protect and rehabilitate wildlife affected by the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Salazar will then visit the Joint Information Center in Robert, LA, for a briefing.

News media are invited to join Salazar on the tour of the rehabilitation center. He will hold a press availability at the rehabilitation center and later participate in a press conference at the Unified Area Command Joint Information Center.
