Secretary Norton, Idaho Gov. Kempthorne, Nez Perce Chairman Johnson News Conference

 

(WASHINGTON) -Interior Secretary Gale A. Norton, Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne and Nez Perce Tribal Council Chairman Anthony Johnson will hold a news conference at noon (Mountain Time) on Saturday, May 15 to make a significant announcement regarding the future of water and endangered species in the State of Idaho.

The news conference will be held on the Boise River at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival amphitheater complex at 5657 Warm Springs Avenue, just east of Boise and directly behind the Idaho State Parks and Recreation Department headquarters.

Members of the news media who are unable to attend the Boise event can hear the announcement and participate in the media availability via teleconference by calling (888) 422-7124; the dial-in code for the conference is 817508.
