The GreenGov Presidential Awards celebrate extraordinary achievement in the pursuit of President Obama's Executive Orders on Federal Sustainability, particularly Executive Order 13693, Planning for Federal Sustainability in the Next Decade.

The GreenGov Presidential Awards honor exceptional Federal personnel, teams, Agencies, projects, facilities, and programs that exemplify President Obama's charge to lead by example in sustainability.  Domestic and international teams, projects, programs, and facilities are eligible along with individuals, and agencies are encouraged to submit multiple nominations.  For individual awards, nominees must be Federal civilian or military employees.  A team nomination may include a Federal partner including a Federal contractor, tribal/state/local agency, or non-profit organization but must be comprised primarily of Federal employees.
