As the SWCSC steps up its efforts to form a Stakeholder Advisory Committee and move science planning forward, the Landscape Conservation Cooperatives are an important venue to connect with federal, state, and tribal partners. On September 8, the Southern Rockies Landscape Conservation Cooperative held a Steering Committee meeting in Denver at which interim SWCSC director, Dave Busch, briefed the Committee on the Center's recent progress and discussed cooperative opportunities with Committee representatives.
Dr. Busch also provided a similar briefing for the Desert LCC Steering Committee in Albuquerque on September 27.
