DOINews: Third National Climate Assessment Describes Current and Future Impacts of Climate Change on U.S.

NCA-cover-thumb-small 203x259The Third National Climate Assessment (NCA) provides a comprehensive summary of climate change impacts on the U.S., now and in the future. The report includes observed trends and projected future conditions of climate change in the United States, as well as information on climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Radley Horton, a Northeast Climate Science Center (NE CSC) Principal Investigator is a Lead Author on the Northeast section of the report. Dr. Horton is Associate Research Scientist at the Center for Climate Systems Research at Columbia University, a NE CSC Consortium member.

Michelle Staudinger, Science Coordinator for the NE CSC, is a Lead Author on a Technical Input to the 2013 National Climate Assessment: Impacts of Climate Change on Biodiversity, Ecosystems, and Ecosystem Services
