The North Central Climate Science Center (NC CSC) celebrated a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to announce its establishment on Tuesday Oct. 2, 2012. The event was hosted by Tony Frank, president of Colorado State University who was joined by David Hayes, Deputy Secretary of Interior and Matt Larsen, Associate Director, Climate and Land Use Change, USGS. In conjunction with the ceremony the NC CSC conducted a two day workshop, Oct. 2 and 3, to bring together staff, lead investigators from its University Consortium, and its Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) to 1) review the 5 year strategic science plan, 2) provide an update of funded projects, and 3) discuss conservation target priorities for 2013 and 2014.
