TRACKING EMPLOYEE COVERAGE - CSRS AND FERS

STAFFING RESPONSIBILITIES:
For employees in covered positions; OR claiming coverage:

  • Maintain a Work History Summary, we recommend it is kept in employee's OPF on top of personnel actions and updated as new actions are processed.
      
  • Confirm retirement system under which Position coverage is approved. (CSRS, FERS or both)
