Southcentral Alaska Subsistence Regional Advisory Council to Meet in Anchorage
The Southcentral Alaska Subsistence Regional Advisory Council (Council) will hold a meeting from November 57, 2013 in Anchorage at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Regional Office (1011 E. Tudor Road). The meeting will begin daily at 8:30 a.m. During this meeting, the Council will:
• Review and make recommendations on proposed changes to Federal subsistence hunting and trapping regulations for 2014–2016.
• Hear a detailed briefing on the use of customary and traditional use determinations in the Federal Subsistence Management Program. The Council may develop recommendations to the Federal Subsistence Board regarding customary and tradition use determinations.
• Review the rural determination process and develop recommendations to the Federal Subsistence Board on possible changes to improve the process.
