Notice of Lodging of Consent Decree for the Lower Fox River and Green Bay PCB Site for Response and Natural Resource Damages 30 Day Public Comment Period

The proposed Consent Decree, if approved by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin after the public comment period, would resolve Brown County’s, the City of Green Bay’s and the U.S. Governments potential liability for response costs, response actions, and natural resource damages associated with the Lower Fox River and Green Bay PCB site. Under the proposed consent decree, Brown County, Green Bay, and the United States would pay a total of $5.2 million for use in financing future cleanup and natural resource restoration work at the Site.
