Need a Great Writer?

Check Out the Department of the Interior’s Writing Contract IDIQ

In August 2005, the Departent of the Interior completed work with GovWorks Federal Acquisition Center to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that provides access to four pre-qualified vendors for writing, editing, publication design and layout, and marketing and advertising services. The IDIQ is available to any Federal agency, including all bureaus and offices of the Department of the Interior, but users must be clients of GovWorks.

The contract encompasses writing projects targeted for the general public as the primary audience as well as specific technical audiences (OMB, the Congress, law enforcement specialists, personnel specialists, etc.). The type of projects may range from corporate-style, informational reports and publications designed to educate and engage citizens regarding Interior’s programs and policies as well as agency financial accountability and performance reports, strategic planning papers, human capital management and workforce planning-related reports, security and law enforcement policies and procedures, budget documents, and various other department-, bureau- and office-level publications requiring professional level writing and editing skills.

The IDIQ is available for a period of five years (until September 2010) or until its threshold value has been reached.
