How You Can Contribute
The House Committee on Appropriations recently directed the Department of the Interior to determine the most cost effective and efficient means for implementing the wildland fire management programs within the Department of the Interior. The programs include the Office of Wildland Fire, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and Fish and Wildlife Service.
These questions are intended for those federal employees with either direct or indirect wildland fire management responsibilities and represents an opportunity to provide the Assessment Team the broadest range of information and opinions. To develop options, the Department is relying on feedback from individuals at all levels, as well as key federal wildland fire management cooperators.
The Assessment Team would like to receive input from anyone within the organization who desires to share it. Since they cannot speak to everyone in person, the Assessment Team would appreciate your time in answering some questions. Please be as specific as possible in your responses.
For consideration, please submit your survey no later than Friday, May 25, 2012.
