What We Do at OLES



Organization of the Office of Law Enforcement and Security

The Office of Law Enforcement and Security (OLES) is headed by the Director who reports to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Safety, Resource Protection, and Emergency Services (DAS-PRE) under the Assistant Secretary – Policy, Management and Budget. In times of emergency, the DAS-PRE has the direct authority, as delegated from the Secretary, to oversee the deployment of all departmental law enforcement and emergency management officials.
