More than 400 members of federally recognized tribes gathered today at the Department of the Interior at a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by President Barack Obama, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Cabinet Members.  President Obama delivered opening remarks and signed a Memorandum of Understanding that directs every cabinet agency to give a detailed plan within 90 days of how they will finally implement a Clinton era executive order to establish regular and meaningful tribal consultation and collaboration.
