Subject: Federal Travel Regulation; eTravel Service (eTS)
Attached is a copy of pages 71026 through 71032, Federal Register, Volume 68,
No. 245, dated Monday, December 22, 2003, which contains amendment 2003-07 to
the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR).
Amendment 2003-07, replaces the requirement to use a Travel Management System
(TMS) with a requirement to use the Governmentwide eTravel Service (eTS). The
amendment also requires agencies to submit migration plans to the eTravel
Program Management Office (PMO).
The Office of Financial Management (PFM) will coordinate the development and
approval of the migration plan for the Department. Should you receive inquiries
from the various vendors participating in the eTravel Service, please refer the
inquiry to this office for response.
