  • Fleet Managers Working Group Membership

    Chaired by the Office of Acquisition and Property Management and comprised of representatives from each bureau with primary responsibility for fleet management or vehicle energy management within their respective bureau.   • Energy Efficient Products/Procurement Work Group was established and chaired by the Department of Energy, the interagency group promotes the Governmentwide acquisition of energy efficient products and encourages water conservation at Federal facilities as required by Executive Order 13423 - Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation ManagementPDF docment, Executive Order 13221 - Energy Efficient Standby Power DevicesPDF docment and Energy Independence & Security Act of 2007PDF docment.

  • Federal Interagency Energy Policy Committee ("656" Committee) was established in accordance with the Department of Energy Organization Act (P.L. 95-91) to provide policy guidance and review progress on Federal energy conservation plans and associated investments. Chaired by the Department of Energy's Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and comprised of senior agency officials with primary responsibility for energy conservation within their respective agencies.

  • Interagency Committee on Alternative Fuels and Low Emission Vehicles (INTERFUEL) advises the "656" Committee on alternative fueled vehicle (AFV) policy matters, promotes inter-agency coordination and cooperation in the placement and infrastructure support, and serves as a forum for the sharing of information. Chaired by a representaive from the Department of Energy and comprised of staff from Federal agencies and sub-agencies with responsibility for AFV programs.

  • Interagency Energy Management Task Force identifies, reviews and makes recommendations on energy management policy and issues for consideration by the "656" Committee and promotes inter-agency information sharing. Chaired by the Director of the Office of Federal Energy Management Programs, Department of Energy and is comprised of senior staff from each Federal agency with primary responsibility for energy conservation within their respective agencies.

  • Interagency Sustainability Working Group serves as a forum for the exchange of information among Federal agencies sustainable design activities in response to Executive Order 13423 - Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation ManagementPDF docment. Chaired by the Department of Energy and comprised of Federal and private sector officials.

  • Renewables Working Group promotes the use of renewable energy and identifies innovative ways to procure renewable energy products in support of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and Executive Order 13423 - Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management. Chaired by the Department of Energy and the National Energy Renewable Laboratory and comprised of energy coordinators from several agencies and industry representatives.
