Sign Up for Direct Deposit

Today, Individual Indian Money (IIM) account holders may have their funds provided to them electronically through automatic transfers to their savings or checking account at a financial institution, or in check form through the U.S. Postal Service.

Direct Deposit to a checking or savings account is faster and more efficient. There is no risk of checks being misplaced, stolen, or lost in the mail. There is no charge for the service and the funds are immediately available to the account holder.

By the end of September 2008, approximately 18,000 Individual Indian Money (IIM) account holders had signed up to use direct deposit.
