Women-Owned Business Programs

SBA's Women-Owned Business Program was designed to promote the growth of woman-owned businesses through programs that (a) address business training and technical assistance, and (b) provide access to credit and capital, federal contracts, and international trade opportunities.

SBA's Office of Women's Ownership (OWBO) is at the forefront of helping women start and build successful businesses. You can learn more about them on the SBA web site at: http://www.sba.gov/ed/wbo/index.html

SBA also provides assistance through the Online Women's Business Center at http://www.onlinewbc.gov
you may also want to check http://www.womenbizrelief.com

The U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce - Guide to Women Contractors provides one convenient, authenticated source for women-owned firms giving buyers "no excuses" to not do business with women business owners.
